After going through about 20 45’s by Ersen, this one stood out the most. Both the songs are very infectious. The first track “Güneþe Dön Çiçeðim” starts with some tribal drums in the background and then immediately its graced with an amazing fuzzy bassline. The vocals are indecipherable but after a couple of listens I cant help but hum along to them. The highlight of the track is from 2.07 min to 2.55 minutes where the vocals fade out and the beat along with the fuzzy guitar just rides along in a perfect groove. The second track “Ersen-Çakmaðý Çak” is more upbeat and its got great drums but they seem to be way in the back but the melody itself is pretty catchy. However the first track is definitely better than the second one. Let me know what you think.
Yea these guys rock!
Did you run by the 45 for their song Ternek? great tune.
yeah I did and that tune is amazing. Finders Keepers Records put out a great Ersen compilation a while ago which is also really good.
